# Calibration with Self-Generated Values

Instead of using the lighting desk to focus on the measurement point during the calibration process, it is also possible to position the fixture directly from Grid Studio.

### Make sure that Grid Studio has the full control

Bring all Mix parameter to the minimum.

### Start Batch Calibration

Select your fixtures and start the calibrator from the inspector.

#### Select a single fixture

Select a single row/fixture which should be positioned.

The batch calibration automaticly adds fixtures depending on the actual selection.\
You can add fixtures to this calibration if they are missing.\

#### Set the position to a calibration point

Use the arrow keys (press and hold) to adjust the fixture.\
Multiple modifyers are aviable for rough, fine and ultra fine control.

#### Repeat this with all fixtures

Position all fixtures to one calibration point before continue.

#### Add a calibration point

Choose from the dropdown the measurement point where the real light fixtures are “pointing/focusing” to and click on “Add or Update”

#### Continue calibration

Repeat this steps with all other calibration points.

You can use the selection and use for different light fixtures different measurement points during the calibration process.
