Connection

Provides configuration settings to communicate with Grid Studio, allowing it to receive commands and send system metrics such as RAM and CPU usage.

The connection settings configure the communication between Grid Gateway and Grid Studio. Once connected, Grid Gateway can receive remote commands from Grid Studio and report system metrics such as CPU, RAM, storage, and other system information.

This allows Grid Studio to monitor systems and trigger remote actions, enabling centralized management and automation across multiple machines.

Changing any of these settings requires restarting Grid Gateway.

Parameter	Requirement	Description
Name	Optional	A text field used to assign a name to this configuration.
Interface	Recommended when using multiple interfaces / addresses	Specify the IP address of the network interface that is in the same network as Grid Studio.
Api Key	Optional	Custom string used as an additional security layer. Must match the API key configured in Grid Studio.
Port	Required	Must match the port configured in Grid Studio.

Monitoring:

Parameter		Description
Restart Grid on Exit		If this option is enabled, the Grid Studio process is monitored and automatically restarted if the software is closed.
Autostart Grid		When enabled, Grid Studio will start automatically with the system.
