Open File

The Open File action opens a file on the machine running Grid Gateway.

The file is specified by its file path, for example a path to an image such as a .png file. When executed, the file is opened using the default application associated with that file type, similar to performing a double-click on the file in Windows Explorer.

This allows workflows to open documents, images, or other resources directly on the target system.

Note: The file must exist on the target machine and the corresponding file type must have an associated application installed in Windows.
