Grid Studio with Viewer and Touch
Before using Grid Viewer or Grid Touch devices, a dashboard interface must first be created in Grid Studio.
User interfaces for Viewer or Touch devices are designed using Artboards in Grid Studio. An Artboard acts as the main workspace where the layout and structure of the interface are defined.
Within an Artboard, Frames are used to define the different views of the interface. A frame typically represents a full-screen page within the viewer.
Frames can also be nested, allowing more advanced interface layouts. For example, a frame can act as the main workspace while another frame on the side serves as a navigation menu. Selecting items in the menu can then load different content frames in the main area.
Alternatively, interfaces can be built using a simpler structure where each page of the interface is represented by a separate frame.
The content of these frames is created using Widgets. A widget represents an individual interface element such as a button, slider, color field, or other control and information elements.
Widgets can either be created using the Grid Studio Widget Editor, allowing fully custom interface elements, or selected from the predefined widgets provided from Stage Precision.
