Show Select Target Dialog
This action is only available as a session-based action.
The Show Select Target Dialog action opens a dialog that allows the user to select a target object for a Target Parameter.
This action must be linked to a Target Parameter of an object.
When triggered, a popup appears displaying a list of compatible objects that can be selected as the new target.

The target parameter that should be modified
Target Parameter
A Target Parameter defines which object another object should reference or follow.
These parameters are commonly used in features such as:
Object Filters
Light Fixtures
PTZ Cameras
For example, lights or cameras can use a target parameter to define which object they should track or follow, enabling features such as auto-follow systems.
Usage
With Show Select Target Dialog, this parameter can be exposed to the Grid Viewer interface.
When the action is triggered:
A dialog opens showing a list of available target objects.
The operator can select a new target directly from the viewer.
This allows users to change targets without needing to modify the project in Grid Studio, and avoids the need to build custom dropdowns or button systems for selecting targets in an interface.
