Protocol Synchronization

All time critical IO Connections have advanced synchronization options. This options can be found in the tab Sync within the added IO.

In- and Outputs can be delayed per frame as well as within subframes. Inputs can be have different additional interpolation methods. In- and Outgoing data packages can be analyzed to show none-sync frame rates and to monitor drop frames.

Additionally, Grid Studio has the option to delay when its internal calculation starts via the “Late Tick Calculations” thus allowing to offset the start time in such a way that it waits for the arrival of incoming data before starting the calculation within the same frame.
